Genoa Lakes offers 36 holes of lowland golf nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. The Lakes Course is a links style layout with natural wetlands coming into play on seemingly every hole. The Ranch Course is a couple miles away and provides a completely different experience. The Ranch Course offers more unpredictable terrain, with elevation changes and more bunkers in play. No matter which course you play or what hole you are on, you may find it very difficult at times to focus on putting a good swing on that little white ball. The setting and surrounding beauty of the area is something that will stick with you long after you leave Genoa Lakes.

I found Genoa Lakes to be a breath of fresh air. Compared to some of the other courses in the area, Genoa Lakes is more open and forgiving off the tee. It is a great course to sprinkle in to a multi-day itinerary, not only to help with your group’s overall budget, but to give your golfers a slight respite if needed. Genoa Lakes is a solid golf facility that will satisfy any level of golfer in your group and could make for a perfect 36-hole day during your trip.
