Somersett Golf & Country Club is one of the finest private golf experiences in the Reno area. The course offers some breathtaking design features, including white sand bunkers, massively-wide fairways, dramatic elevation changes, and outstanding mountain views. My favorite feature of Somersett is the variety of holes that you find. Some go up, some go down, and there just seems to be a ton of decisions to make with every shot. Some courses just give you cookie-cutter layouts, but Somersett keeps you guessing at every turn.

The other thing I always think of with Somersett is the palette of colors you find. The green fairways, rocks, desert patches, purple mountains, blue sky…it is almost sensory overload how pretty the place is. I highly recommend a round at Somersett Country Club when planning your next golf trip in the Reno-Tahoe area.
